MinMei Creator Uploader
MinMei Creator Uploader is an owner-operated desktop application that uses the YouTube Data API to upload reviewed videos to the owner's MinMei YouTube channel. The website is public, but the uploader itself is private and used only by the channel owner.
Purpose and functionality
The application gives the owner one guarded workflow for selecting a local video, reviewing its title and description, choosing its audience and privacy settings, disclosing synthetic media when required, and submitting exactly one upload.
Before any upload, it verifies that the Google-authorized YouTube channel is the exact owned MinMei channel. Afterward, it reads back the returned video ID, processing state, and privacy state so the owner can verify the result and avoid accidental duplicate uploads.
Why Google access is requested
Google OAuth access is requested only so the owner can authorize the application to identify the owned YouTube channel, upload the exact owner-reviewed video and metadata, read back the upload result, and maintain an owner-selected channel description when separately approved.
The application does not use Google data for advertising, profiling, surveillance, resale, analytics, model training, or activity on unrelated channels.
Google user data used
- The authenticated channel ID and limited owned-channel profile fields.
- The video file and metadata that the owner explicitly selects for upload.
- The returned video ID, processing state, and effective privacy state.
- Local OAuth access and refresh tokens needed for the owner-authorized request.
Owner control and safeguards
The owner reviews every publishing field and completes Google OAuth. Public and unlisted API uploads remain blocked until Google's compliance review is approved and the owner explicitly opens the release gate. The website has no remote upload backend and never receives OAuth tokens or video files.
Access can be revoked at any time from Google Account third-party connections. The application does not automate comments, likes, subscriptions, monetization, or unrelated-channel activity.
